Kit Paulson Kit Paulson received her BFA with a concentration in glass from Alfred University in 2004 and has been working in glass continuously since then. She has taught at Penland School of Craft as well as numerous other private glass studios. In 2015 Kit completed the Rosenberg Residency at Salem State University and a residency at the Tacoma Museum of Glass. She has received scholarships from Pilchuck Glass School, Corning Museum of Glass, Pittsburgh Glass Center, The Windgate Foundation, Art Alliance for Contemporary Glass and the Glass Art Society. Her work has been published in New Glass Review editions 36, 37 and 38. |
Chip Shackelford Chip Shackelford’s studio is in Eastern NC, and his artwork is a fusion of mixed media and Outsider Art. He specializes in blown glass and mixed media paintings. Both demonstrate a colorful palette and are one of a kind. Chip’s pieces have been included in private collections through the United States. |
John Shoemaker John Shoemaker, originally from Pennsylvania, began blowing glass in 2008 while attending Tyler School of Art at Temple University. In addition to earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Glass, John extended his education attending workshops at prestigious craft institutions such as Penland School of Crafts, Pilchuck Glass School, and Corning Museum of Glass. John's work is exhibited nationally in gallery shows and art festivals. John currently resides in Asheboro, North Carolina, operating his glassblowing studio under the name Apothecary Architecture. |
